This fall North Itasca Electric worked with our lender CoBank and its Sharing Success program to apply for grant funds up to $10,000.  We were awarded two $5,000 grants.  One is earmarked for Itasca Economic Development Corporation and the other for Northland Progressive. 

CoBank is one of the largest private providers of credit to the U.S. rural economy.  It loans North Itasca Electric construction funds for our various projects throughout the years.  Through CoBank,  the cooperative can apply for the Sharing Success program.  CoBank recognizes that its customers often know best where funding can most effectively be provided to benefit their communities.  Since Sharing Success was established in 2012, CoBank and its customers have together contributed $66 million dollars to various groups. 

North Itasca Electric is proud to take part in the program once again in 2022.
