The North Itasca Community Trust Board trustees met in April to distribute Operation Round-Up® funds for community-based projects which help Members in the cooperative’s service territory. Awards are listed on p. 6.
A total of $13,600 was distributed to help 33 separate projects for childrens’ programs, safety equipment, township repairs and more. Since the program began in 2004, Operation Round Up has distributed more than $415,800.
Operation Round Up is funded through the generosity of Members who choose to round up their bill to the next dollar each month. Those cents add up, so that twice each year awards can be made for community initiatives.
