It’s hard to believe it is already December and another year has gone by!

It’s been a pretty good year in the sales department. I want to take a moment to thank all of you who made it possible. I’m glad things have opened back up and it’s not taking months to get appliances in, like it was for a while when COVID was going strong.

I’m also grateful that the road construction is finished up and we can use our front door again! North Itasca has some construction being done in the office at the Co-op as well. We replaced the glass wall on the north side of the building with some smaller windows on that wall. We were losing so much heat through all the windows; on windy days you could feel the wind blowing right in. Those sitting back there have already noticed a difference. I think we will see a big difference in our electric bill. Working through the construction has been challenging at times, but the finished product is going to be great.

I’ve been able to keep the showroom full, with a variety of appliances. There have been members that have not had good luck in the big box stores and have found what they wanted here. The big box store would have to order their appliance and then the wait could be two weeks. This made me feel pretty good.
