This summer is sure starting off nice. Opener was beautiful. In fact, I think it was so nice the walleyes were all napping. Oh well, I enjoyed being out on the water.

I want to remind everyone that June 5th at 11:00 a.m. you can start applying for a rebate for an electric bike! These rebates from the state go by your income and can be up to $1500. To apply go to https://www.revenue.state.mn.us and look for an Electric Assisted Bicycle (e-Bike) rebate. North Itasca Electric is set up to participate in the program. So, bring your rebate in when purchasing a bike. The state is allowing $2 million per year for 2024 and 2025. When it’s gone the program is done, so if you are interested don’t wait.

We also offer contracts to those members who qualify. To qualify you must be current for 3 months in a row on your account. Then you can put 20% down and spread the payments out up to 3 years.

For those of you building a new home and looking for appliances, come and see me. We can sit down and put together a package. Remember we have package deals, so you don’t have to wait for a sale. If you buy 3 appliances you would get 8% off, 4 appliances would be 10% off and 5 or more 15% off.

One really nice thing about purchasing from us is we sell right off our showroom floor, so if you see it you can take it with you or set up delivery. I never really gave it much thought until people started coming in who had ordered from one of the big box stores and were telling me that their order might take a month to come in. Well, that would create serious problems, especially with refrigerators and freezers. I couldn’t wait a month if my refrigerator or freezer died. I try to have something here that would work for everyone. But even if I must order,  I promise it won’t take a month.
