Effie
Forevergreen Greenhouse and Gifts is located 1 mile east of Effie on Highway 1. Opening Sat., May 3. Bursting at the seams with blooms this year; specialties include patio tomatoes, petunias and geraniums plus a large variety of flowers, baskets and vegetables. There is also an attached gift shop with candles, western primitives, garden art and more. Lloyd’s Landscaping is located at the junction of Highways 38 and 286 in Marcell. Bedding plants, shrubs, fruits, perennials, hanging baskets, bagged soil and bulk bin materials like mulch, crushed rock and topsoil. Landscaping services available – call with your questions. Mizpah’s Local Roots Greenhouse is located at 11354 Pleasant St. in Mizpah. Opening April 25, hours 9 a.m.- 5 p.m., 7 days a week. More of everything and more colors also this year as well as new plants. Large variety of vegetables and flowers: succulents, herbs, perennials and annuals. Strawberry and flower baskets, porch pots of cucumbers, strawberries and tomatoes. Gardening supplies, potatoes and onion sets. This year, we’re not going to run out of hanging baskets!
