North Itasca Electric Coop sells many different brands of appliances. We carry LG, GE, Sharp, Crosley, Frigidaire, Speed Queen, Samsung, and Danby. We have a fully stocked showroom where we sell right off the floor. If you see something that you like you can pick it up that same day or schedule a delivery for a charge of $50.00. If we deliver an appliance we offer removal of the old appliance for a fee of $25.00. We try to keep a variety of merchandise on the floor both white, stainless, and black stainless, however, if you don’t see what you want on the floor, we would be happy to order it for you.
There are a lot of sales throughout the year, so watch for them on the web site and in the Watts Newspaper. Keep in mind if you need three or more appliance you won’t have to wait for a sale since we offer bundling deals. If you purchase at least three appliances, you get a discount of 8%. Purchasing four qualifies you for a 10% discount and five or more would be 15% off the whole package. The more expensive your appliances the more you save!
We also offer contracts to members that qualify. To qualify you must be an active member in the cooperative and your account needs to be current for the last three consecutive months. We require a down payment of 20% on our contracts. Your contract could be 12, 24 or 36 months in length. These contracts carry an interest rate of 4%.
We carry water heaters, air conditioners and our latest venture is Electric Go Bikes. These bikes are sweet. They go up to 20 mph and will travel up to 36 miles on a single charge. If you pedal and use the electric, you can go much further. They plug into a regular outlet, and it takes about 5 hours to charge them. These bikes are a big hit for older people who love to bike but have a hard time with hills. They are fun to ride even on trails in the woods. They are so quiet!
