Roxanne’s Sales Talk

by Roxanne Prather, Member Services Representative

Good morning, everyone.
I’m just shocked at this gorgeous weather this last week, 82° in October is not very normal, but I sure
loved it. Now today it is back to normal 48° for a high. This last weekend was a great opportunity to get
everything put away for winter. “I’m ready now, I think.”
I just want to let people know that for some reason there is a shortage of 18, 19 and 20 c.f. refrigerators.
I’m not sure why but white seems to be hard to get now. So, if you come in and don’t see any smaller
refrigerators on the floor, this is why. Hopefully this will get better soon. Thank you for your patience.
It’s been a busy week for me . I was able to attend a retirement seminar in Maple Grove on Wednesday
and Thursday. Yes, I’m getting to the age where I need to start thinking about what I must do to retire!
Hard to believe I’ve been at the Co-op for 26 years already. Time goes by fast. Sheila and I learned so
much in those two days that our heads were spinning! So much information; it was a great seminar.
While we were down there, we ran into one of our Board members, Lloyd Kongsjord . He was down
there for a Great River Energy meeting. Lloyd arranged it so we could get in and tour the GRE building.
Thank you, Lloyd, for setting this up for us. What a great opportunity! What a beautiful building.
I’d like to give a big thank you to Communications and Marketing Manager Dan Becchetti for taking
the time to show us around and explain all that they do there. Everyone that we met stopped what they
were doing and took the time to explain what their job was. Sheila and I were amazed at how nice
everyone was. The technology there is astounding! They truly have eyes on everything.
